PSAT Testing

Plano ISD will administer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Students in 9th grade will take the PSAT 8/9 assessment and students in 10th grade will take the PSAT/NMSQT assessment. The PSAT helps students identify academic areas of strength and growth, as well as prepare for college entrance exams like the SAT. The PSAT/NMSQT test is also the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program for students in 11th grade and the National Recognition Program for both 10th and 11th grade students.
